The BS-Steam generates moist heat (steam) that envelops the body, similar to a Turkish bath. Infrared heat provides dry warmth and penetrates down to the muscles. Steam is more sensory and is associated with the skin and breathing; infrared is more closely linked to recovery and performance.
Yes. It's the Bootech model that's compatible with aromatherapy. Add a few drops of lavender, eucalyptus, or peppermint to the aroma basket, following the instructions in the manual. The infrared sauna, on the other hand, does not allow oils or liquids.
